About Yttrium Oxide (Y2O3)
Yttrium Oxide (Yttria) is a thermally stable and highly insoluble source of yttrium. It is commonly used in glass, optic, and ceramic applications due to its stable properties.
Oxide compounds are generally not conductive to electricity, but certain perovskite structured oxides are electronically conductive and are used in applications like the cathode of solid oxide fuel cells and oxygen generation systems.
