Application
PTFE insulator PTFE has excellent electrical insulation properties in a wide temperature and frequency range. Since the fluorine atoms in the PTFE molecular chain are symmetrical and evenly distributed, there is no inherent dipole moment, so the dielectric loss tangent TGA and relative permittivity are small, while ER decreases with increasing temperature. PTFE insulators can be used in filters, connectors and other related devices in the communication field, 5G communication flying rods, support bases and other insulators have been used in depth.
Added to this are insulating PTFE sleeves, Material: virgin and filled grade PTFE filler: glass fiber/carbon/bronze/graphite/MoS2 to improve wear resistance and other mechanical properties. PTFE lined pipe is custom made for corrosive hazards and high value processes.

Advantages
- Insulation resistance; PTFE has a very high insulation resistance. Its volume resistivity PV is generally greater than 1015ΩM, and its surface resistivity PS is greater than 1016Ω.
- Breakdown field strength; The breakdown field strength of PTFE is very high, and the breakdown field strength of a very thin PTFE film can reach 200KV/MM; but as the thickness increases, the breakdown field strength gradually decreases.
- Arc resistance;PTFE is extremely stable to the arc, and the arc resistance is usually greater than 300S. This is because it will not be decomposed into gas due to short circuit due to carbonization during high-voltage surface discharge. Even if it is exposed to the open air for a long time and is polluted by dust and rain, its insulation performance will not be affected. However, due to the high electronegative properties of fluorine atoms in PTFE, 1~2EV electrons will dissociate and decompose it, so its corona resistance is not good.
