Principle

The liquid nitrogen low-temperature pulverizer is combined with a liquid nitrogen tank and a liquid nitrogen pump (pedal type + electric pump). It uses the cryogenic effect of liquid nitrogen combined with the powerful crushing capacity of the ultra-fine pulverizer to achieve ultra-fine crushing of high-toughness raw materials.

The main machine of the crusher is composed of a feeding port, a collecting tank, a crushing chamber, a high-speed motor, etc. The material enters the crushing chamber from the feeding port. At the same time, the liquid nitrogen is pressurized by the liquid nitrogen pump and enters the interior of the crusher in the form of gas-liquid mixture. The raw material becomes embrittled when exposed to liquid nitrogen and is impacted and crushed by the high-speed rotating blade (25000r/min). The high speed of the blade The rotation also causes the flow of air flow, which brings the crushed materials to the crushing tank. The liquid nitrogen is vaporized and the air is discharged through the filter bag to complete the crushing.

The pulverizer host in this equipment is a small ultra-fine pulverizer that has good pulverizing effect on a variety of materials, and can be used alone as a laboratory ultra-fine pulverizer. The dual-use of one machine greatly improves the efficiency of the equipment. Value for money.

FAQ

What Is A Cryogenic Grinder And How Does It Work?

A cryogenic grinder is a device that uses liquid nitrogen to cool and grind materials at very low temperatures. The material is first cooled to a brittle state using liquid nitrogen, then fed into a grinding chamber where it is pulverized by high-speed rotating blades or impellers. The process involves repeated impact, collision, shearing, and friction to achieve fine particle sizes. The ground material is then classified by an airflow sieve, and any material that does not meet the required fineness is returned to the grinding chamber for further processing.

How Does A Laboratory Crusher Work?

The key mechanism of laboratory particle size reduction is the jaw crusher. This machine uses a fixed plate with a mechanically operated gyrating plate. The plates move against each other in a rocking motion, crushing samples and moving towards the discharge area.

What Is A Laboratory Crusher Used For?

A laboratory crusher is used to reduce solid samples like rocks or crystals into powder or dust. It is used for a range of applications and processes.

What Is The Laboratory Plastic Crusher Used For?

The laboratory plastic crusher can achieve a good crushing effect on plastic raw materials and tough materials. It uses the low temperature of liquid nitrogen to embrittle the raw materials to achieve a better crushing effect. This machine is currently widely used in universities, scientific research units, and testing units. It can also be widely used in the ultra-fine and ultra-fine grinding of dry materials in plastics, rubber, traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine, pesticides, biology, cosmetics, food, feed, chemicals, ceramics, and other industries.

What Are The Main Applications Of Cryogenic Grinders?

Cryogenic grinders are widely used in various industries, including food processing, manufacturing, steel grinding, and recycling. In food processing, they are used to grind heat-sensitive materials like cheese, dried fruits, and spices while preserving their flavor. In manufacturing, they are used to pulverize materials like carbon black without thermal degradation. In steel grinding, they help manage heat generated during the grinding process. In recycling, they play a crucial role in processing materials efficiently.

What Is A Crushing Machine?

A crushing machine is a mechanical device used to reduce the size of large rocks, ores, or other materials into smaller pieces. It is commonly used in industries such as mining, metallurgy, building materials, and recycling. Crushing machines typically utilize a combination of crushing mechanisms, such as compression, impact, and attrition, to break down the material. They often consist of a stationary plate or surface and a moving jaw or cone that applies force to the material, causing it to break.

What Are The Advantages Of Using A Cryogenic Grinder?

Cryogenic grinders offer several advantages, including increased productivity through optimized particle size and higher throughput, elimination of caking within the mill, decreased wear on grinding equipment, and the ability to separate composite materials. They also provide a higher production rate, lower energy consumption, finer particle size, more uniform particle distribution, and lower grinding costs. Additionally, they improve pouring properties of materials and reduce microbial load.

What Factors Should Be Considered When Selecting A Crushing Machine?

When selecting a crushing machine, several factors should be considered to ensure it meets the specific requirements of the application. The hardness and abrasiveness of the material being crushed should be evaluated, as different machines are better suited for different materials. The desired size and shape of the final product are also important considerations. The capacity and efficiency of the machine should align with the desired output and production rate. Other factors to consider include power requirements, maintenance and operating costs, as well as the availability of spare parts and technical support.

Why Is Liquid Nitrogen Used In Cryogenic Grinding?

Liquid nitrogen is used in cryogenic grinding because it provides the necessary refrigeration to cool materials to very low temperatures (down to -196°C). This cooling makes the materials brittle, allowing them to be easily pulverized. Liquid nitrogen also absorbs the heat generated during the grinding process, preventing thermal degradation and maintaining the material's properties. It is an effective and safe cooling medium for achieving ultra-fine grinding results.

What Types Of Materials Can Be Processed Using A Cryogenic Grinder?

Cryogenic grinders can process a wide range of materials, including plastics, rubber, pharmaceuticals, food grades, plant and animal tissues, and heat-sensitive materials. They are particularly effective for materials that are susceptible to oxidation or contain volatile substances, such as carotene, vitamins, coffee, and spices. Cryogenic grinding is also suitable for materials that require fine particle sizes and uniform distribution.

How Does Cryogenic Grinding Improve Material Properties?

Cryogenic grinding improves material properties by reducing particle size to a fine and uniform level, which enhances the material's flowability and mixing characteristics. It also preserves the material's integrity by preventing thermal degradation and oxidation. Additionally, cryogenic grinding can reduce microbial load and improve the material's visual appearance by minimizing speckling. These improvements make the material more suitable for various applications, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food processing.
