Working Principle

The KT-EP Jaw Crusher operates on the principle of pressure and friction. The sample enters the grinding chamber through a splash-back-proof hopper. The crushing takes place in the wedge-shaped area between the fixed crushing arm and the moving crushing arm driven by an eccentric drive shaft.

The elliptical motion of the moving jaw crushes the sample against the fixed jaw. As soon as the sample is crushed smaller than the set discharge gap width, it falls into a removable collection drawer under gravity.
