About Lithium Titanate (Li2TiO3)

A recent nanotechnology-based development from the University of Illinois involves nanofiber mats of zinc titanate that can remove sulfur impurities from petroleum-based fuels more efficiently than existing methods, which could potentially lower the cost of fuel technologies in the future.
Lithium Metatitanate is a white powder with a melting point of 1,533 °C (2,791 °F) and has various uses, such as an additive in porcelain enamels and ceramic insulating bodies based on titanates.
