This machine is also much faster than a manual tablet press, so you can create a large batch of tablets in a short amount of time.

Various shapes of molds can be provided according to customers' requirements. The most common shapes are rectangular, square, and round. However, molds can be made in any shape that the customer desires.

How to prepare samples

  1. Place the upper die upside down on the press ring; put the top bar and the press tongue in the hole of the upper die; before putting the press tongue, recognize the side with high finish and put it flat towards the top.
  2. Place the specimen on the tongue, then put the other tongue with high finish side down into the hole of the upper die, and flatten the specimen.
  3. Put the lower die into the upper die hole.
  4. Place the mold upside down in the center of the table of the press and tighten the screw.
  5. Tighten the valve clockwise.
  6. Insert the handle into the lift-off hole of the press with the handle and press up and down to the proper pressure (generally to 8 tons, i.e. 27Mpa).
  7. Let the sample continue to press for several minutes, then turn the valve counterclockwise and relax the screw to remove the mold.

Unloading the sample

  1. Go to the lower die, put the press ring into the upper die hole and invert it.
  2. Put the mold on the table of the tablet press.
  3. Tighten the screw until the pressure tongue comes out.

When sample pressing, the operator must set the parameters of pressure, speed, and time according to the process requirements, so that the formed tablets meet the requirements for strength, hardness, and weight. The morphology, disintegration time and other indicators of the tablets can be affected by the changes of parameters during pressing. Therefore, it is necessary to press under the condition of constant pressure and speed, so that the physical and chemical indexes of the tablets can be controlled within the allowable range, and the products can meet the requirements of pharmacopoeia or relevant standards.

If the amount of downward movement is too large, the tablet will be excessively thick; if the movement is too small, the tablet will be too thin. Also, if the die hole is too small, the tablet will be excessively thick; if the die hole is too large, the tablet will be too thin.
